MENU SYSTEM
4.5.1 Basic settings
In this menu the basic setting of the parameter block is carried out.
Depending on the measurement configuration you have selected, there
may be not all of the following parameters available or cannot be edited.
Name of parameter block
- it is possible to assign a name with 18 char-
acters to the parameter block. In chapter 5 you will find the description
for the input of the individual letters.
Operator note
- it is possible to assign to the parameter block an opera-
tor prompt with 18 characters. The operator prompt will be displayed
before the measurement. In chapter 5 you will find the description for
the input of the individual letters.
Selected standard
- Depending on the integrated measurement circuit
the test specification (norm) is displayed according to which the test is
executed. If the unit is equipped with the optional feature „Multi Use“
it is possible to select/switch over between the built-in measurement
circuits. This choice has effects on the applying and switchovers during
the test. The active test specification is shown as identification param-
eter in the lower line of the status display
Safety Class - "s.cl I / s.cl II"
- safety class of the unit.
s.cl I
- with protective earth conductor connection - at EN 60598
is made in addition the distinction between „stationary“ and
„moveable“ items under test.
c.cl II
- without protective earth conductor connection.
Mains voltage
- please enter the mains supply voltage with which the item
under test is operated under normal condition or during warm-up. De-
pending on the selected voltage supply there are two ranges available.
-
Internal supply
230 ... 280 V
- the lower voltage value corre-
sponds to the mains supply.
