19.
If perforated floor tiles are required for ventilation, you should place them in front of the
UPS and System Bypass Module (SBM).
20.
Ambient air convection cooling is the only cooling requirement for the SBM.
Recommended minimum clearance over the SBM is 304.8 mm (12 in.).
Do not block ventilation grills.
21.
Your System Bypass Module operating environment must meet the size and weight
requirements shown in Table H.
22.
The basic environmental requirements for operation of the UPS system are:
Ambient Temperature Range:
0−40°C (32−104°F)
Recommended Operating Range:
20−25°C (68−77°F)
Maximum Relative Humidity:
95% noncondensing

23.
The 1200A and 2000A System Maintenance Bypass (SMB) cabinets are not designed
for stand alone operation and therefore, cannot be remotely located. The SMB must
be located and attached to the right side of the SBM.
24.
The 1200A SMB input leads to the SBM are installed at the factory and coiled inside the
SMB. Route leads through the left side of the SMB and connect to the SBM output bus.
25.
Use supplied bus plate to connect 1200A SMB neutral to SBM neutral.
26.
Use supplied bus plates to connect the 2000A SMB inputs, bypass inputs, and neutral to
the SBM.
