Installing the SBM Cabinet
The SBM is bolted to a cushioned wooden pallet consisting of a wood platform
secured to foam cushions. The foam cushions act as shock absorbers for the
cabinet during shipment and movement to the installed location.
WARNING
The SBM cabinet is extremely heavy. If unloading instructions are
not followed exactly, the cabinet may tip and cause serious injury.
1.
Move SBM to final installed location using forklift jacks between foam cushions
on the bottom of the unit.
2.
Remove side panels from SBM cabinet, to gain access to hardware securing
cabinet to cushioned pallet.
3.
Remove hardware securing cabinet to cushioned pallet.
CAUTION
Lift only at lifting eyes or cabinet damage may occur.
4.
Attach suitable hoist to SBM lifting eyes, and lift the SBM cabinet until the
cabinet bottom clears the cushioned pallet by approximately 3 mm (1/8 in.).
5.
Once SBM cabinet is clear of the cushioned pallet, pull the pallet from under
the UPS cabinet. Discard or recycle them in a responsible manner.
6.
Carefully lower the SBM cabinet until the cabinet base contacts the floor.
7.
Remove lifting eyes from SBM cabinet.

Installing the SMB Cabinet
NOTE:
When the SBM and SMB are installed at the same time, the SMB is
shipped installed and wired to the SBM. The following instructions
are provided for SMB installation, if the SMB is installed after the
initial installation of the SBM.

Remove side panels from SMB cabinet, if provided.
2.
Remove right side panel from SBM cabinet.
3.
Move SMB to final installed location on the right side of the SBM cabinet using
forklift jacks between foam cushions on the bottom of the unit.
4.
Remove hardware securing cabinet to cushioned pallet.
