Store the battery at a dry location with low air humidity.
Maintain a temperature between 5 °C and 20 °C.
Protect the battery from extreme temperature fluctuations.
Do not expose the battery to direct sunlight or heat, for example
when storing it in a warehouse.
Make sure that the stored battery is charged at least every three
months.
Electric motor and control unit care
WARNING
A short circuit can be caused by moisture, soiling or
mechanical damage. The consequence may be the
battery catching fire or exploding.
Clean the electric motor and control unit
exclusively from the outside with a damp
sponge.
If these components are accidently submerged
in water, disconnect the motor from the battery
immediately and do not put it back into operation
again before having it checked by the
manufacturer.
