Articulation - Lubrication

Do not allow anyone to remain in the vicinity of the
steering joint when the engine is running. Risk of
being crushed when the steering is operated.
Press the emergency/parking brake knob before
lubricating. Do not allow anyone to remain in the vicinity of the
steering joint when the engine is running. Risk of

Press the emergency/parking brake knob before
lubricating.
Turn the steering wheel fully to the left to gain access
to all the steering system's lubricating nipples (4) on
the right-hand side of the machine.

Wipe off any dirt and grease from the nipples.
Grease each nipple (1) with five strokes of a
hand-operated grease gun. Make sure that grease
penetrates into the bearings.
If grease does not penetrate the bearings, it may
be necessary to relieve the articulation joint with a
jack while repeating the greasing process. If grease does not penetrate the bearings, it may
