6.2.2 Setting the needle bar height

Proper setting
Lock the machine in place at the loop stroke position ( 
p. 15
).
The height of the needle bar is set correctly when the hook tip is positioned
in the lower third of the groove on the needle.

To set the needle bar height:
1. Turn the needles to top dead center.
2. Switch the needles off.
3. Loosen the screw (1).
4. Turn the needle holder (2).
5. Tighten the screw (1).
6. Switch the needles on.
7. Check the needle bar height and readjust it if necessary.
