WARNING
Risk of injury due to disregarding notices
All notices that must be observed for the safe operation of the fireplaces can be found in
the "Overview and description of functions" chapter and in the individual fireplace
descriptions.
All notices in the "Overview and description of functions" chapter must be read and
complied with to operate the fireplaces.

WARNING
• It is not permitted to remove or render non-functional any safety devices during
operation.
• During exercise operations, the doors to the technical room must be open and
secured.
• The trainers must ensure that there are no unauthorized persons in the training area of
the fire simulation system.
• The trainers are only permitted to be entrusted with the operation and monitoring of the
fire simulation system. They are not permitted to carry out any other tasks that impact
the operation and monitoring of the fire simulation system.
• The fire simulation system is not permitted to be operated if there is a risk of storms,
strong winds or other extreme weather conditions. Exercises must be canceled if there
is a risk of a storm due to potential step voltage and lack of protection in the door area.
• The trainers must ensure that they have a clear view at all times of the fireplace being
operated and of the exercise participants. Continuous communication between trainers
and exercise participants must be ensured.
• If the trainer's view should become impaired during the exercise operation, e.g. due to
sunlight, smoke, water vapor, extinguishing agent or similar, the exercise operations
should be interrupted immediately by pressing the emergency stop switch.
• There is a risk of impact, tripping and slipping when entering and exiting the fire
simulation system.
• The use of mobile telephones is prohibited during operation of the system.
• Residues from fire extinguishing training should be removed after every exercise.
• Persons in the exercise area must be equipped with appropriate personal protective
equipment. During the exercise, the personal protective equipment is to be put on and
worn correctly.
• During operation it is not permitted for any forklifts or similar vehicles to be parked in
the safety zone (radius 5 m) around the gas supply and system.
