Open the ATM cabinet door. Feed the ventilation
fan power cable up through the access hole
beneath the Card Cage, as shown in Figure 4-
15. Feed at least 8 inches of the cable into the
Card Cage.

Return to the Card Cage. Check for a dedicated
FMV fan power jack on the rear of the
backplane, as shown in Figures 4-16 and 4-17.
A mirror has been placed in the photo to show
the location of the jack, if present. Reach behind
the backplane to verify the presence of the jack.
If the jack is present, plug the FMV power cable
into it, as shown in Figure 4-18, then skip to
Step 2-9.

If backplane does not have a dedicated FMV
fan power jack, disconnect the cable that is
connected to J8 on the backplane. See Figure
4-19 for the location of this cable.
