The screen for the DIRECTV receiver should now
be displayed. The first screen will allow a language
to be selected. Using the arrow keys on the remote
control move to the language you prefer and press
select.

Now let’s go over to the right side of the screen
at the bottom and select Satellite Signal. This
screen will show us our signal strength.

This is the critical part of the receiver set up. On
the dish type, select 01: Round Dish 18”. Below that
is the RB/Intl, Select “None”.
Double check that the tuner type is set to Dual
Tuner. Do this so the driver can watch one show,
while recording another.
(Note: if the DIRECTV Non-DVR Receiver was
purchased, then please select Single Tuner).
Next in the menu is the Switch Type. Select Multi-
switch.
