APCI Probe Disassembly
The starting point for this procedure is the APCI probe removed from the
instrument.

Using the 2.5 mm Allen key, unscrew the M3 x 10 cap head stainless
steel screw (P/N FM103046).
Remove the probe clamp and locking plate.
Using the 10 mm spanner, unscrew the capillary retaining nut.
Remove the graphite ferrule (P/N 6070119), PEEK insert (P/N
FM102591), and APCI capillary tube (P/N FM102594).
Caution.
Exercise care when handling the APCI probe capillary because it
is fragile and may be damaged easily.

Using the 2.5 mm Allen key, unscrew the two M3 x 8 cap head stainless
steel screws (P/N 5313020).
Remove the APCI probe mount and O-rings.
Cleaning the APCI Probe
The APCI probe can be stripped down for thorough cleaning after prolonged
use with additives.
1. Wipe the surface of the stainless steel insert capillary with [50:50]
methanol:water.
