33 | Chapter 1 : DVR User Manual

3.1.4

HDD

[HDD] tab displays the information of HDD that is mounted on the VMAXHD.

[FORMAT] Formats the entire HDD installed in the DVR.

[HEALTH INFO] Displays the information of HDD.

[HDD INFO] Displays the information of HDD status.

OVERWRITE

When enabled, the DVR will continue recording and overwrite the oldest existing recorded
data once the hard drive is full. When disabled, the recording will stop once the hard drive is
full.

RECORDING LIMIT

Enable/disable recording limit.

LIMIT DAYS

Set the recording limit days (1- 90days). If the RECORDING LIMIT DAYS are set to 1, data
recorded will be overwritten after 24 hours.

TEMPERATURE LIMIT
Set the specific temperature of HDD to prevent HDD failure in advance. Normal temperatures

are between 30 to 45 degrees Celsius.

ALARM
Enable/disable the alarm in case the temperature is over the limit.

BUZZER
Enable/disable the buzzer in case the temperature is over the limit.
