Setting Up IP Configuration Learning
Do the following to set up your access server to learn IP configuration information
from a BOOTP server on the network:

Set up the BOOTP server:
a)
Add an entry for the access server’s Ethernet address.
b)
Associate the Ethernet address with an IP address.
c)
Optionally, associate the Ethernet address with a subnet mask
and default gateway.

Ensure that the access server does not have an IP address stored in
NVRAM. Use the following command:
Local> LIST INTERNET
If the display shows an Internet address, clear it using the following
command:
Local> DEFINE INTERNET ADDRESS NONE

Ensure that the Internet characteristic is enabled. Use the following
command:
Local> LIST INTERNET
If the Internet characteristic is not enabled, enable it using the following
command:
Local> DEFINE INTERNET ENABLED
