CREATE WAVE FILES WINDOW

After clicking on the
Create Wave Files
button the
Create Wave Files
Window will appear. The
Destination Drive and Folder
will be set to the default (which was selected in the
Preferences
Window). The
Estimated space needed for wave files
is displayed along with the
Free
space
available in destination drive
. Both of these indicators will help you decide if your destination drive
has enough room to create the wave files. If the space required is not sufficient enough to create all of
the wave files the WFCU will create
as much
of the wave files as possible.
Use the
Prefix
field to enter up to a 10 character prefix to be appended to each of the wave file names.
This value will default to the value which was selected in the
Preferences
Window. The wave files are
named according to the following naming scheme:
[prefix]_[track start date
(month-date-year
)]_
[track start time
(24-hour)
]_[SSABR G2 Serial Number].wav
For example, a recording made on July 9, 2001 at 2:04 PM on SSABR G2 Unit 00104 (with a prefix of
