The SSABR G2 unit is equipped with an on-board, real-time clock that is capable of scheduling recordings.
The unit can be placed in a location several months in advance of a recording event, automatically power
itself on to record the session, then shutdown to sleep mode after the recording is complete. It is
recommended that a fully charged AA battery be put in the unit before leaving it in a remote location; and,
as indicated previously, the unit should not be left in the idle mode for more than 6 months.
The software scheduler will allow you to set the start date/time, stop date/time and duration of the
recording. Multiple tracks can be scheduled. All schedules are stored in the on-board flash memory and
will be retained even if the AA battery is removed. The SSABR G2 allows up to 256 different scheduled
events. Each scheduled event is recorded as a separate track.
