When the load is less than 30
%,
a BATTERY LOW alarm message displays. (Flashing for several seconds)
When the load is below
10%,
a BATTERY VERY LOW alarm message displays. (Flashing for several seconds)
18.5.3.Messages in operating mode changes
These messages flash for several seconds when the change from one status to another is detected.
When the scale is booted in battery mode only and when it is switched from mains to battery only the
percentage of battery life remaining in the scale, the “BATTERY X%” message, displays on the
weighing and operation screen.
When the scale is booted with the cable connected to the mains and when it is switched from battery
mode only to the mains, the “MAINS” message displays on the weighing and operation screen.
18.6. ANTI BLACK-OUT BATTERY
The Gama 500 of scales has an option of a safety system with a battery for power cuts (anti black-out).
In the event of a power cut, the battery allows the scale to work temporarily until power has been restored.
Battery charge indicators are the same as the indicators on the models with long-life batteries, except in
the case of scales with graphic display, in which the electrically powered indicator uses the
icon.
If you want to connect an external battery to the scales with the anti black-out battery, it must be a 24 VDC
battery.
18.7. OPERATION WITH EXTERNAL BATTERY
When the scale is working powered with external battery, it tshows the indication BATTERY, but without
showing the percentage of charge of the battery.
In models with extended battery, external battery must be of 12VDC.
In models with Anti-Blackout battery, external battery must be of 24VDC.
