14.MACROS [ 10 ]
DIBAL Gama 500 models are capable of recording a
sequence of keystrokes and subsequently reproducing said
sequence. Only in models W-020, W-025 and M-520, M-
525 is possible to record up to 2 macros.
This section shows how these keys for direct access to the
functions most commonly used by the user are programmed.
To run the programmed macro, press the MENU key and,
immediately after, the key to which the macro is assigned.
14.1. PROGRAM. MACROS [ 10 1 ]
Press the MENU key for 2 seconds.
To move from one option to another, use F2 to move down
the menus and F1 to move up.
Select the 10 Macros option, press

and, here, select option
1, Prog. Macros.
The scale will display each of the steps for programming
macros:
1. Enter the number of the macro you wish to program.
2. Select the direct key to which the macro is to be assigned
on the keyboard
If the keyboard has macro keys, the first 10 macros must
correspond to the macro key.
3. Program the description of the macro. This is text which
helps the user identify the macro’s function.
4. Program the macro password. Optionally, a 4-digit
password can be programmed to enable or disable the
running of the macro.
5. Last of all, you are prompted to press the key you have
assigned to start recording the macro.
At that point, the scale will display on the weighing screen,
and memorize all the keystrokes until


is pressed for 2
seconds.
At macro programming, by pressing
PRINT
you can
obtain a complete list of the current macros.
