7.7 Decontamination/repairs
Sending un-decontaminated temperature control units in for repair
PHYSICAL INJURY AND PROPERTY DAMAGE CAUSED BY HAZARDOUS MATERIALS IN OR ON THE
TEMPERATURE CONTROL UNIT
Carry out appropriate decontamination.
The decontamination process depends on the type and quantity of the materials used.
Consult the relevant safety data sheet.

You as the user are responsible for carrying out decontamination BEFORE third-party personnel
come into contact with the temperature control unit. Decontamination must be carried out BEFORE
the temperature control unit is returned for repair or inspection (clearly stating in writing on the
temperature control unit that decontamination has been carried out).
