Turbo PMAC Clipper Hardware Reference Manual

Troubleshooting

Reloading PMAC firmware

– E13 Jumper

E13 jumper is putting Clipper into Bootstrap mode. The following steps ensure proper firmware
reload/upgrade.

Step1:

Jumper the E13 while power is off.

Step2:

Power up the Clipper.

Step3:

Launch the Pewin32Pro2.

Run the PMAC Devices window under Setup > Force All Windows To Device Number.
Click Test for the corresponding communication method.
Click ok for message “The PMAC is in Boostrap Mode”
