Install the slide rails or tray on the tape backup unit. Figure 3-18 shows the
3.5-inch tray installation.

Align the tape backup unit with the flex bay and slide the unit in until the
locking mechanism engages. See Figure 3-19.

If you are installing a SCSI tape backup unit, install the SCSI controller
expansion card in one of the expansion-card slots. See "Installing an
Expansion Card."

Connect the power cable to the power connector on the back of the tape
backup unit.
