USING THE AED

TURN
AED ON
PREPARE
THE PATIENT
Press “ON/OFF” button to turn AED on.
Follow the voice and onscreen instructions.
(
NOTE:
To power off the AED at any time, press and
hold the ON/OFF button for approximately 2 seconds.)
Remove clothing from patient’s chest.
If necessary, dry chest and remove excess chest hair.

Peel adhesive pads
from blue liner.
Tear open
pads package.
Apply pads to patient’s bare chest.
