Interpreting the show Command Display
The show
device Display The
show device
command provides a list of all installed devices
on your system, including information about the type of device,
its write/read capabilities, its capacity, and the device name.
Figure 13–5 shows an example of a show device command
display.

show device
display does not indicate the status of
a device, it can be used for troubleshooting problems that may
occur due to duplicate SCSI device ID numbers.
