Note:
The initial IP configuration is usually done directly at the host system using the special
procedure described in Section
4.1 on page 15 . However you can also connect to the LARA
using its pre-configured IP settings.
Attention:
Changing the network settings of LARA might result in losing connection to it. In case you
change the settings remotely make sure all the values are correct and you still have an option
to access the LARA.

Parameter Description
Enable DHCP If this option is checked, LARA will contact a DHCP (Dy-
namic Host Configuration Protocol) server in the local sub-
net in order to obtain a valid IP address, gateway address
and net mask. Before you connect LARA to your local sub-
net, make sure to complete the corresponding configuration
of your DHCP server.
