Connecting the Intake Damper Harness to the Fireplace 

 

WARNING

: DO NOT CONNECT THE INTAKE DAMPER WIRES TOGETHER  

(this will short the system). 

  The 25’ intake damper harness is shipped in the hardware box (see page 19 for details).  If additional 

length is needed, use part 250-02295 (typically ordered when fireplace is configured) or 18 gauge 
wire. 

  Route the intake damper harness through the cover plate and attach to the molex connector on the 

fireplace as shown below.  The other end is attached to the damper(s). 

 

HINT

: Keep the low voltage cover plate disconnected until all wiring to the fireplace is attached.  You 

may also wish to leave the strain reliefs/clamps loose until the cover plate is ready to be attached.
