System Integrity Pre-Test

Before testing an installation, the integrity of the LANcat system
may be checked by running the tests described below.

To pre-test your system:

Connect the main and remote units using a CAT3 coupler or a
patch cable.

Run Self Test (Extended Functions, see Chapter 11).

Run Pair Reversal (Extended Functions, see Chapter 5).

Run Repeatability (Extended Functions, see Chapter 5).

Run Autotest (CAT3 Basic Link, see Chapter 3).

If FAIL occurs on any test results, contact Datacom Textron
Technical Support for assistance
(see Chapter 11).
