Remove individual wires by unscrewing their terminals with
the screwdriver. For easy re-assembly, fully open the
terminal barrels, using (6) full turns.

Note the location of the tie wrap on the old cable and then
cut away the tie wrap without cutting the grommet.

7.

Remove the grommet from cable and save for reuse.

New Cable Preparation

NOTE

This procedure assumes you are using EIA/TIA
T568A type patch cord. See Table 1 for other
possible configurations. (If changing cable types it
may be necessary to contact Customer Service for
calibration assistance.) Read all instructions before
starting cable preparation.
