Introduction
This manual is designed to explain the operation of the All Sport
®
5000 Series console. For questions
regarding the safety, installation, operation or service of this system, please refer to the telephone
numbers listed on the cover page of this manual. To fully understand this manual and the operation
of the All Sport 5000 Series console; Daktronics recommends that all general sections be read in
conjunction with specific sport(s).
Important Safeguards
1.
Read and understand all instructions.
2.
Do not drop the control console or allow it to get wet.
3.
Do not let any power cord touch hot surfaces or hang over the edge of a table that
would damage or cut the cord.
4.
If an extension cord is necessary, a three-pronged, polarized cord should be used.
Arrange the cord with care so that it will not be tripped over or pulled out.
5.
Always turn off and/or unplug the control equipment when it is not in use. Never
yank the power cord to pull the plug from the outlet. Grasp the plug and pull to
disconnect.
6.
To avoid electrical shock, do not disassemble the control equipment or the driver
modules. Incorrect reassembly can cause electric shock and faulty operation or
permanent damage to the circuits.
The box below is an illustration of Daktronics drawing numbering system. The drawing number
"7087-P08A-69945" is how Daktronics identifies individual drawings. This number is located in the
bottom right corner of the drawing. The manual will refer to drawings by the last five digits and the
letter preceding them. In the example, the drawing would be referred to as
Drawing A-69945.
The
drawings are located at the end of each section and in
Appendix A.
