Set Cool / Heat for More Than One Outdoor Unit System Simultaneously in Accordance with Unified
Master Outdoor Unit by Cool/Heat Switching Remote Controller
Install cool/heat select remote controller on the group master outdoor unit.
Install the external control adapter for outdoor unit on either the outdoor-outdoor, indoor-
outdoor, or transmission line.
Set group master outdoor unit PC board DS1-1 to “Outdoor” (factory set).
In setting mode 1, set the outdoor unit you want to give cool/heat selection permission to as the
group master, and set the other outdoor units as group slave units.
Set the external control adapter for outdoor unit SS1 to BOTH (factory set) or C/H, and SS2 to
OFF (factory set).
