Troubleshooting To troubleshoot, proceed as follows:
Begin
Is the unit a cassette
or built-in type?
Is the optional drain
raising mechanism
connected?
No
Is the short-circuit
connector connected to
X15A on the indoor
unit PCB?
No
Connect the
Short-circuit
connector.
No
Is a drain pump
connected to the
indoor unit PCB?
Yes
Check the continuity of the
short-circuit connector.
Yes
Is there
continuity?
Yes
Replace the
Short-circuit
connector.
Replace the
indoor unit PCB.
Yes

Does the drain pump
work after restarting
operation?
Yes
Connect the
drain pump.
Yes
No
Is the drain water
level abnormally
high?
There is a malfunction
of the drain system.
Set to
"emergency" and
check the voltage
of X25A.
220-240 VAC?
Replace the drain
pump.
