The fan does not
rotate

To troubleshoot, proceed as follows:

Remove obstacles so the
fan rotates correctly or
replace the fan.

Reconnect connector.

Try to rotate the

fan with your

hand.

Can

you rotate the

fan smoothly?

Check capacitor

Yes

the capacitor in

good condition?

Yes

Replace the capacitor.

Reconnect connector.

The fan does not

rotate.

Check outdoor

unit type.

Is the unit a

R(Y)P71B?

The unit is a

R(Y)P100-125B

Disconnect

connector X14 on

outdoor unit PCB.

Disconnect

connectors X14A

and X15A on

outdoor unit PCB.

Yes

Check motor windings.

Reconnect connector.
