Setting the flow
switch The table below describes how to set the flow switch.

: The flow switch should now be correctly set. Steps 6-9 are performed to check if the swiching point
is within tolerance.
Step Action
1 Set the water flow to the correct value as specified in "Flow values" on page 4–12.
2 Remove the protective screw cap on the front of the flow switch.
3 Adjust the potentiometer so that the red LED turns on.
4 Adjust the potentiometer very carefully so that the red LED is switched off and the yellow
LED is lit.

Adjust the potentiometer very carefully so that the red LED is switched on again.

6 Raise the water flow until at least one green LED is lit.
7 Drop the water flow slowly and steadily until the red LED is lit.
8 Record the flow at which the red LED is lit.
9 Is the recorded flow within the tolerance specified in "Flow values" on page 4–12?

If so, the flow switch is set properly. Go to step 10.
■
If not, go to step 1.
10 Put the protective cap back on the flow switch.
11 Seal the protective cap.
