Account
Default User and Right
The default user names of the device are admin, 888888, and hidden
“default”.
admin: factory password and user name are the same, the factory default is a high-
privileged users.
888888: The factory password is the same as the user name. By default, the factory
password is a high-privilege user. However, the network client cannot log in.
hidden “default”: This user is used within the system, cannot be deleted. When the local user
is in the "no user login" state, the system will automatically use this account login. The user
can modify the account rights; some of the operations can be performed without a login.
Users with the "User Management" privilege can modify the rights of the default account.
For user-friendly management, it is recommended that the authority of ordinary users be
lower than the advanced users when user defines authority.
User Group and User
User management have user and user group, each user name and group name are exclusive.
The system supports a maximum of 64 users, 20 user groups.
Default settings include user and admin two groups, cannot be deleted.
A user in a group can m
odify rights within the group’s rights. But 888888 and admin users
cannot arbitrarily designate.
Each user must belong to a group, a user can only belong to one group; select the group,
the user's rights can only be a subset of the group rights, cannot exceed the group's right
attributes.
The string length of a user name and a user group’s name is up to 16 bytes. It must be
composed of letters, numbers, underscores, minus signs, dots, commas, and so on. First
and last byte cannot be blank.

Before you add user, make sure the user group of the user you want to add exists. If not, please
add user group first, see Ch 6.5.4.2.
