43-7 config 802.1p user_priority
Purpose
Used to map the 802.1p user priority of an incoming packet to one of the four hardware queues available
on the switch.
Format
config 802.1p user_priority <priority 0-7> <class_id 0-7>
Description
The
config 802.1p user_priority
command configures the way the switch will map an incoming packet,
based on its 802.1p user priority, to one of the four available hardware priority queues on the switch. The
switch’s default is to map the following incoming 802.1p user priority values to the four hardware priority
queues.

priority
The 802.1p user priority you want to associate with the
<class_id>
(the number of the hardware queue) with.
class_id
The number of the switch’s hardware priority queue. The switch has
n+1 hardware priority queues available. They are numbered between
0 (the lowest priority) and n (the highest priority).
Restrictions
You must have administrator privileges.
