Purpose

 

Used to clear the Switch’s statistics counters. 

Syntax

 

clear counters {ports <portlist>} 

Description

 

This command is used to clear the counters used by the Switch to 
compile statistics. 

Parameters

 

<portlist>

 Specifies a port or range of ports to be displayed. 

Restrictions

 

Only Administrator level or Operator level users can issue this 
command. 

Example usage: 

To clear the counters:
