enable command logging  

Purpose

 

Used to enable command logging. 

Syntax

 

enable command logging  

Description

 

This command is used to enable the command logging function. 

Note: When the switch is under booting procedure, all configuration 
commands  should not be logged. When the user is  under AAA 
authentication, the user name should not changed if the user uses 
the “enable admin” command to replace its privilege. 

Parameters

 

None. 

Restrictions

 

Only Administrator level or Operator level users can issue this 
command. 

 

Example usage: 

To enable the command logging function:  

DES-1228/ME:5# enable command logging 

Command: enable command logging
