Important
If media is loaded and the right and left edges of the roll are uneven, media feeding problems may cause
the media to move around during printing. Either rewind to align the edges or use a roll without any
issues.

Pass the media under the platform (if included). And through the fixation unit. Feed media using the
touch panel. Raise the upper take-up roller in the fixation unit. Pass the media between the pair of
take-up rollers like shown in the illustration bellow and apply some tension by pulling the media from
the edges. Then lower the upper take-up roller and lock it with both latches.
Note
It is very important to leave some media in front of the fixation unit. Between 2 to 3 meters to avoid
having problems when raising the up/down roller in the fixation unit.
Caution
Make sure to have the fixation unit switched off and cooled down before passing the media through the
unit. Risk of burns.

Is required two operators to load the media by lifting/lowering the upper rubber roller.

Leave the fixation free of intrusive elements. Risk of fire.
Caution
When using the take-up unit:
Exercise caution to avoid being pinched or becoming caught. Inadvertent contact with certain areas
may cause the hand or fingers to be pinched or become caught. Use care when performing
operations.
Never attempt operation while wearing a necktie, necklace, or loose clothing. Bind long hair
securely. Such items may become caught in the machine, resulting in injury.
