4.5.6.2 RSTP Port Status
RSTP Port Status
allows users to view
a list of all RSTP ports‟ information. Select
RSTP Port
Status
from the
RSTP Monitor
menu and then the following screen page appears.
In this page, you can find the following information about RSTP status:
Port Number:
The number of the port.
VLAN ID:
The VID of the VLAN to which this port belongs.
Path Cost:
The Path Cost of the port.
Edge Port:
“Yes” is displayed if the port is the Edge port connecting to an end station and does
not receive BPDU.
P2p Port:
“Yes” is displayed if the port link is connected to another STP device.
Protocol:
Display RSTP or STP.
Role:
Display the Role of the port (non-STP, forwarding or blocked).
Port State:
Display the state of the port (non-STP, forwarding or blocked).
