Go To Interact
Select the GOTO ITR button to execute Interact from the Shell. Doing so
provides the proper environment for Interact to create and use the applica-
tions within the currently selected project.
The Interact module displayed is determined by the project’s Startup
Application configuration setting in the Application Manager. If this
setting is None, then the Application Manager Main Menu is displayed.
Upon exiting Interact you will be returned to the Shell Main Menu.
Exit
Select the EXIT button to exit the Shell program and return to DOS. When
you select this button, the Shell reminds you that you must have a keyboard
connected to the PowerStation before you can exit the Shell. If you have a
keyboard connected to the PowerStation, select YES to exit the Shell.
You can restart the Shell at any time by typing
PSU
and pressing the Enter
key on the keyboard.
Calibrating the Touch Screen
The PowerStation’s touch screen is calibrated prior to leaving CTC.
However, you may need to recalibrate the touch screen occasionally. The
PowerStation comes with a calibration utility that is required to perform
this task. The calibration utility also requires a keyboard.
Once you have a keyboard connected to the PowerStation, you are ready
to begin the calibration. The calibration procedure involves calibrating the
touch screen for text and for graphics. Follow these steps to calibrate the
touch screen:
1. From the Shell MAIN MENU, select the TOUCH CAL button. A mes-
sage window appears reminding you that the calibration utility re-
quires a keyboard to perform the calibration.
2. Select YES to start the calibration utility. The calibration main menu
appears.
3. Verify that the Button Mode is set to Drag drop mode. If it is not, use
the up/down arrow keys to highlight the words ‘Button Mode,’ and use
the left/right arrow keys to display the Drag drop mode option.
