P1 PowerStation User Guide
Memory Guidelines
Refer to the memory guidelines listed below when you develop Interact
applications. The following table lists guidelines to follow concerning the
use and capacity of memory used for runtime and development systems.
Available Connectors
The P1 PowerStation includes many of the same ports found on most PC’s.
All P1 PowerStations have two serial ports, a parallel port, a PS/2 style
keyboard/mouse port, and an Ethernet connector. The following graphic
shows the available connectors on a typical P1 PowerStation.
Serial Ports
The P1 PowerStation has two serial ports you can use to communicate with
external devices at baud rates of up to 115 Kbaud. COM1 supports RS-
232C, while COM2 supports RS-232C, RS-422, and RS-485 communica-
tion standards.
