Finally, you should, once again, carry out a step-by-step check of the head
settings.
The two switches "Clear" and "Float" remove the data from the DMD chip
and move the chip’s mirrors to the resting position. However, this serves
merely as a test function for our service technicians and should not be
used by the operator.
When the "Shutter" mode is activated - by clicking in the “Shutter” check-
box - the LEDs are turned on, but the micromirrors on the chip are not ac-
tivated. This can be recognised by a faint bluish light.
Upon clicking the "Mirrors on" button, both LEDs are turned on and the
micromirrors on the chip are activated. After operating and checking the
LEDs and micromirrors, the "mirrors off" button must be pressed upon
completion.
Upon clicking the "Print Test Image" button, the LEDs are turned on and
the micromirrors on the chip are configured in such a way that a test im-
age is visible.
Upon pressing the "Mirrors off" button both the LEDs are turned off, and
the micromirrors on the chip are deactivated.
