SR Subrack Replacement
About this task
This procedure describes how to remove and replace an entire SR5110 subrack in a CS400-AC cabinet.
Components and assemblies can be removed from the rear of the failed subrack before it is removed from the
CS400-AC cabinet. Procedures for SR8204 and SR8116 subracks are nearly the same so separate procedures
for these subracks are not provided.
GreenBlade SR subrack chassis sit on a pair of support angles that are mounted to the rack. The support angles
create a shelf. The subrack is secured to the vertical rails of the rack with two screws through the mounting holes
of each of the subrack handle brackets.
CAUTION:
● Serious injury or equipment damage
● A fully populated SR subrack chassis can weigh up to 273 lb (124 kg). A lift is required to safely install
and remove these subracks from a rack. Failure to do so may result in serious injury or equipment
damage.
