Secure the bracket to the front panel using two M3-0.50 x 4 mm screws. Check that the EMI gasket and
bracket are not obstructing any LEDs or light pipes.
HDD/SSD Replacement
The following procedures describe how to replace an internal HDD/SSD in the two GB522X chassis models.
● First generation
● Second generation (with high-mount drive bracket)
For many of the steps, refer to the corresponding number in the figure for each procedure.
GB522X SSD Replacement (High-Mount Bracket)
Removal
1.
Remove the GreenBlade chassis from the subrack and place it on a stable ESD-safe work surface. Remove
the cover.
2.
Disconnect the SATA power connector (5-4 pin) from the drive.
3.
Disconnect the SATA signal (flexible-foil) connector from the drive.
4.
Remove the four screws that attach the high-mount bracket to the base of the chassis. Two screws go
through the node IFB.
