4.13 RighT hand dRive KiT - ‘93 and laTeR (25-30 fT. headeRS)
Place all controls in neutral or off, stop combine engine, set
parking brake, remove ignition key, wait for all moving parts to
stop, then properly block machine before servicing, adjusting,
repairing, or unplugging.

Install the gearbox stub shaft into the gearbox with two 1.
5/16” keys and bushings (Figure 24). The hex end of the
shaft should point to the right side of the header. Make sure
the shaft is centered in the gearbox and torque all bushing
bolts to 17 ft-lbs.
Replace the OEM RH support plate with the provided bearing 2.
mount bracket, bearing and flangettes. Install the bracket by
using four 3/8” x 1” carriage bolts and serrated flange nuts.
Drill two 9/32” holes through the header, using the holes in the 3.
bearing mount bracket as a guide. These holes will be used
to reinstall the OEM drive shaft shield and door assembly.
Slide the RH drive shaft through the bearing mount bracket, 4.
the drive shaft shield tube and the OEM RH bearing.
Install the OEM hub and sprocket on the RH drive hex 5.
shaft. Also, reinstall the OEM clamp that was removed in
Section 4.5 (Figure 25).
Install the clutch end of the OEM driveline on the RH drive 6.
shaft. Then, install the opposite end of the OEM driveline on
the RH end of the gearbox stub shaft.
Pull back the spring-loaded collar on the slip clutch end of 7.

of the gearbox stub shaft and release the collar to lock the
driveline in place.
Reinstall the OEM drive shaft shield and door assembly to 8.
