SINGLE HEAD - USER MANUAL V1.2

Note the asterisk (*) next to the name of the object. This means that it is a Reference Object, in other words it is a
reference to the original Project Object inside the CAD Workspace.
You can have multiple references to a single Project Object, so when you need to make modifications to it in the CAD
Workspace, all the Reference Objects associated with it in the Manufacturing Workspace will be modified as well.
The above image shows four Reference Objects. Switching back to the CAD Page would still show the single original
Project Object, so for example scaling or renaming it would affect all of these Reference Objects as well.
Note that rotating or moving a Project Object inside the CAD Workspace does not affect its Reference Objects, as
positioning on the Build Plate is determined by the Manufacturing Workspace information.
Every copy of a Reference Object will be noted with an extra “c“ next to the asterisk. For every Project Object in the
CAD Workspace there is a dedicated Reference Object which will be moved to Trash when deleted. All other copies of
it will be removed when deleted.
If a Reference Object is moved to Trash, a trash can icon will be next to its greyed-out name. Clicking on the trash can
icon will bring back the Reference Object to the Manufacturing Workspace.
To fully remove it, the Project Object needs to be deleted from the CAD Workspace.
Note that removing a Project Object from the CAD Workspace will remove all of its references from the
Manufacturing Workspace.
