8.4. Using Craftware Pro

After reading through the following, you will be able to:
•  Create/Load/Save projects
•  Import/Export models and G-codes
•  Navigate your way through the different workspaces
•  Have a basic concept of how to analyze and modify

objects to your needs

•  Set up the printing process from object arranging to

slicing

•  Examine the resulting G-code before sending it to

your printer

•  Navigate your way through different settings to fully

customize the experience

The title bar

The title bar of the software is available all the time. It

contains the essential functions you will need to use

throughout your workflow.

Main buttons

On the left side you can find the main buttons of the

software, separated into 4 groups:
•  About: This group contains the CraftBot logo button,

which has the following functions

•  Project and file operations: Using this group you can

create a new project, and load/save projects, models

and G-codes. The load and save buttons work mostly

with projects, but using the arrow next to them, a

context menu can be used to specify what you’ d like

to work with.

•  Undo/Redo: Using these arrows you can undo or redo

any actions you’ve made.

•  Settings: The last group contains a button which

opens up the software settings where you can adjust

many preferences according to your needs.

Project name

Next to the main buttons you can see some text. This is

the name of the project you are currently working on.

Note that this is an input field, so you can freely modify it

at any time if you click on it.
