Cargo box unloading:

To unload the cargo box safely, it is necessary to follow the following

procedure:

1. Park the vehicle on a flat and level surface and activate the parking

brake.

2. Open the tailgate and unload all or most of the cargo. Only lift the cargo

box if you are absolutely sure it can be lifted. Do not lift with load.

3. Once it is unloaded, lower cargo box and fix it in.

NEVER LIFT THE CARGO BOX FULLY LOADED. DOING SO COULD

CAUSE AN UNEXPECTED OR AGGRESSIVE LIFTING, WHICH

WOULD BREAK THE SPRINGS AND COULD CAUSE SERIOUS

INJURY TO THE OPERATOR.

ALWAYS UNLOAD THE VEHICLE ON A FLAT AND LEVEL SURFACE

AND ACTIVATE THE PARKING BRAKE, TO AVOID THE VEHICLE TO

OVERTURN.

NEVER DRIVE THE VEHICLE WITH THE CARGO BOX LIFTED OR

THE TAILGATE OPENED.

PLACE A NET OR TARPAULIN OVER LIGHT OR VOLATILE LOADS.

USE STRAPS TO SECURE THE LOAD TO PREVENT IT FROM

MOVING IN THE CARGO BOX.

DO NOT ALLOW THE LOAD TO PROTRUDE OVER THE SIDES OF

THE CARGO BOX.

REMEMBER THAT THE HEAVIER THE LOAD, THE LONGER IT WILL

TAKE TO STOP THE VEHICLE.

CONTROL THE LOADING OF FLUID TANKS AND THEIR INTERNAL

DISPLACEMENTS.

NEVER DRIVE WITH PEOPLE ON THE CARGO BOX. THIS COULD

CAUSE SERIOUS INJURIES TO THE PERSON, EVEN DEATH. IT IS

ONLY ALLOWED TO TAKE PASSENGERS ON THE PASSENGER’S

SEAT.

DO NOT PLACE HEAVY LOADS ON THE TAILGATE, AS IT COULD

COLAPSE.
