LOCATION OF COMPONENTS

2WD / 4WD TRANSMISSION SWITCH

Located in the centre of the instrument panel.

It has 2 positions:

2WD:

2 wheel drive -rear wheels- (1).

4WD:

4 wheel drive (2).

REAR DIFFERENTIAL LOCK SWITCH

Located in the centre of the instrument panel.

It has 2 positions:

OFF:

Rear differential unlocked (1).

LOCK:

Rear differential locked (2).

It is recommended to activate the 4x4 and the differential lock when

the vehicle is completely stopped in order to minimize the wear of

the components.

NEVER engage the 4WD and differential lock when the steering is

turned. Do not use the 4x4 and lock on paved roads.

Remember to proceed with the 4x4 actuator and gearbox services

as indicated in the Maintenance Table (p. 44/45), to avoid premature

deterioration.
