UPnP friendly name
It is strongly recommended that you set an individual friendly name for each device running
the Plato app on your home network.
Plato assigns a unique default name based on Plato-device_info when the app starts. This
name is used in the Device Selection Lists on many of Plato’s app controls. With the Plato
system itself and a number of tablets and smartphones also running the Plato control app it
can get very confusing determining which device you are accessing if they all have the similar
names.
Select this option to change the name of your Plato unit, or tablet/smartphone running the
Plato application.
Select the option and type in new name.
Click OK when done.
You must restart the Plato App for the new name to take effect.
Note that in all device lists the text ‘(Local)’ indicates the device that the Plato app is
currently running on.
