Playlists
Playlists are useful if you want to queue up material for playback at a later date. Your
playlists may contain tracks in any order, not necessarily as complete albums.
Playlists are stored on UPnP servers. Normally you will store them on your main Plato device,
but you could choose to store them on a different UPnP server (maybe a tablet or
smartphone). For this reason, the PLAYLISTS tab has a Device Access List to select which
server you would like to view.
The PLAYLISTS tab shows a list of playlists on the selected server.
If a playlist is selected from the PLAYLISTS tab its contents (tracks) will appear in the PLAYLIST
tab where they can be modified.
There are 3 ways to create Playlists:
•
From the Media Library
•
From the Play Queue (See
section 8.5.2)
•
From the Mood Grid (See
section 10.5.1)
