10. Mains Connection
The mains socket to which the effect light is connected must be easily accessible to quickly
separate the device from the mains voltage in case of an error.
Do not let the mains cable come into contact with other cables.
Be careful when handling mains cables and mains connections. Mains voltage may cause
potentially fatal electric shock.
Never leave cables lying around openly. Install cables professionally to prevent accidents or
damage to the mains line.
Before plugging in the mains plug, ensure that the device voltage indicated at the effect light
corresponds to the available mains voltage. Do not connect the device if the indication does not
correspond to the available mains voltage. Incorrect supply voltage may lead to irreparable
damage to the device and danger to the user.
• Connect the mains cable low-voltage plug to the mains connection (7) at the device.
• Plug the mains plug of the mains line into a grounded socket.
• Once the device is connected to the mains socket, it takes up operation.
11. Operation
The function buttons and the display (1, 2, 3 and 4) set the operating mode.
a) Automatic Operation
• Press the button MODE (1) until the display (4) shows “Axx”. “A” means that the device is in automatic operation,
“xx” shows the selected function.
• Set the desired function with the buttons UP (2) or DOWN (3). The different functions are included in the following
list.
• The change is immediate.
• The light intensity is always 100% (full brightness).
In this operating mode, the device does not react to signals pending at the DMX IN (5) connection but
generates the corresponding DMX signals depending on the function selected (12-channel signals) at
the DMX OUT (6) connection. This makes it possible to control devices connected to DMX OUT (6) and
encoded as slave or slave reverse devices synchronously.
The last function set is stored even if this operating mode is left in between or the effect light is switched
off.
