4.3.5 System Params menu
The System Params menu configures the internal operation of the
Condre RAID
. To avoid
having the configuration altered by unauthorized personnel you can enable requiring a
password to enter Configuration Mode. Also, to have the
Condre RAID
provide failure
event notification uses the “Pager Info”, “FAX Info” and “Company Info” options. The
Pager and FAX require a external modem to be attached to the modem port.

Use to enable paging notification when a failure occurs. One
or two pagers can be notified with a unique code that can be
up to 28 characters. For each pager you can enter the
telephone number and pin number (if required). The pager(s)
can be notified up to 20 times at intervals (in minutes) of up
to 20 minutes. Use the Page NOW option to immediately
send a page.
